⚜️ She died on August 11, 1959 at the age of 12 years old, from complications with acute lymphatic leukemia.

⚜️ She lived in the small rural community of Richard, Louisiana, in Acadia Parish, Louisiana.

⚜️ In her final days, Charlene offered her suffering in prayer for others, and her peaceful faith deeply moved everyone around her.

⚜️ She is buried in the cemetery of St. Edward Catholic Church.
